Evaluation of a new CT/NG/TV/MG Real-Time PCR Kit (Vircell) versus the Allplex STI Essential Assay (Seegene) for the diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections

This study evaluated CT/NG/TV/MG Real-Time PCR Kit Vircell for the detection of four major sexually transmitted infection pathogens across different anatomical sample types. The assay showed high diagnostic performance compared with Allplex STI Essential Assay, with 99.53% overall sensitivity, 99.84% specificity and excellent concordance. These results support its use as a reliable molecular option for routine STI diagnosis in clinical laboratories.

VirClia® Measles and Varicella-Zoster IgG monotests was evaluated for determining antibody index in paired CSF and serum samples. The automated CLIA assays showed strong agreement with established ELISA methods and high diagnostic performance for both measles and VZV IgG. These findings highlight the potential of VirClia® technology to support laboratory investigation of infectious neurological disorders.

Comparative evaluation of chemiluminescent immunoassay and enzyme‑linked immunosorbent assays for the diagnosis of West Nile virus infections

West Nile virus diagnosis relies mainly on serological detection, particularly when the viremic phase has passed. In this comparative study, WNV VIRCLIA® IgM and IgG monotests showed strong agreement with established ELISA methods and high diagnostic performance in serum samples. The automated monotest format offers a practical CLIA-based solution to support West Nile virus diagnosis in routine laboratory workflows.
