This immunofluorescence method is based on the specific binding of the monoclonal antibodies included in the kit to the antigen present in the sample. After removal of unbound antibodies, the antigen–antibody complex is visualized through fluorescein conjugated to the antibody, either directly or via a secondary conjugate.
